So, I have been cutting back on animal protein a bit, but I still love meat. This is how I remedied the hamburger situation.<br><br>
1 lb extra lean ground beef (we have this at my Publix and it has the same fat, cal, etc as chicken)<br>
1 cup chopped up mushrooms<br>
1/3 c chopped onion<br>
1/2 c. black beans<br>
1 Lipton Onion soup mix<br>
2 T fresh rosemary, chopped<br>
1 egg<br><br>
I mixed it all together and let it sit til evening. Then I made it into patties and grilled them. It was really, really good. The fresh Rosemary was excellent. And 1 lb ground beef would have easily made me 6 burgers. But, I only made five cuz the hubby likes a BIG BURGER!
