<p>.. and now this ... national news, missing persons ... one girl found bound and gagged in basement and other 3 still missing and feared likely dead ...</p>

<p>I used to work with Stephanie and my daughter dated her son a few years ago ... this creepo lived directly across the street from the girl my son dated  in 2009-10  ...</p>

<p>there was also a rash of burglaries/violent crimes in the area around the holidays last year ... smalltown America isn't what it used to be  :-(</p>

<p>Wow, those things are icky.  No, small towns aren't what they used to be.  I think they were able to hide stuff for a long time and then it finally pops out.</p>

<p>We moved to a small town everyone assured me we would love.  Oh my.  Maybe it's because I'm hispanic, but the DWB astounded me.  There was not one black cop on the entire force.  Hispanic?  As if.  I pointed out to my husband all the little subtle things going on and he started to see it, too.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>My kid's high school?  The kids themselves had what was known as the "black hall" and the "white hall" and never the twain should meet.  God forbid if an interracial couple decided to date.  My son said it was horrible.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>It's like both sides are stuck somewhere in the 50's as far as race attitudes go.</p>

<p>the bastage told the cops where he hid the bodies ... in a hollow tree at the lake we go sled riding at, camping and kayaking with friends  ... so sad ... daughter had planned to search again today when she was told they'd found the bodies ... so she went to the candlelight vigil to look for her friend who's mom was killed  ...</p>

<p>I'm glad they know where they are but so sad it ended this way  ... such a sad mess  ... daughter is not taking it well.</p>
