Good afternoon to all in the USA from a damp and dismal Dublin. This is Adrienne aka Cailin Deas (Irish for Lovely Lady). Can I say again a big THANK YOU to you all who encouraged me before my first race (in Philly) and gave me lots of praise afterwards. It has encouraged me to keep up my couch to 5k training and I've been out again with my coach - Liam - to get me ready for my first 5k on Sunday next. Its a Jingle Bells run around the Phoenix Park in Dublin. Hopefully my knees will hold up and I'll report back to you afterwards.

Time for Bed now - see you all soon.

I'm glad you had such a good time in Philly. I really enjoyed meeting you and Liam both. After an 8K, a simple 5K should be no trouble, right?

Adrienne - it was really a pleasure meeting you and Liam in Philly. I certainly hope our paths get to cross again for more fun times in the near future

And obviously, good luck with your running...and to think, you're easing back with the distance in your next race; should be no problem!

If we were able to encourage you to keep on running than I'd say we accomplished more than just racing and socializing that wonderous weekend. I'm happy to hear that we had such a positive influence on your training. Keep up the good work. And may the wind always be at your back....

Given that we are apart tonight due to conflicting schedules, I'll get my welcome on here in too - Hope you catch it

Frankie, sorry I didn't make the introductions, so many people around it was hard - I missed a few too, sadly. Next time

Hi again you guys, what a great bunch you all are. Looking at all the photos has reminded me of the great time Liam and I had and how welcome you all made us.
My friends and Family here in Ireland think I've lost the plot altogether - starting to run at my age but I'm feeling better than I've ever done before so I've been running again this week preparing for my next race - a 5k on Sunday - I'll let you know how I get on.
