she is also training for a fall marathon and has hinted a few times that we should go for a "little trot" as she calls it. fine. shes a 40 something year old mother of three (no disrespect to anyone who is a mom) so i figured i could keep up at the very least... right?!?!<br><br>
WRONG.<br><br>
the woman took off and it was all that i could do to not be left in the dust. here she was chatting away about work and i could only... attempt to breathe. gasping was more like it.<br><br>
at the end of the run, we had completed 4 miles in under 27 mins. my 5k PR is 27:30. hows that for a personal record while out on a "lunch trot"? i didn't even know i could RUN that FAST. apparently, under sheer terror of humiliation from one's boss, i can <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Very Happy">
