Yes, I am a proud Mama. My DD17 has done a few races with me, but my DS6 has wanted to do one. Today we had a one mile race in my town and a lot of families do it. He was really excited and nervous. I asked him if he wanted me to run with him and he said yes, but I needed to run as FAST as I could. He did great and ran the whole way, then towards the end he said, "Mommy, I'm going to take off now".....He also beat his friend Halle which added to his enjoyment........<img alt="banana.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/banana.gif"><br><br>

My 4 yr old ran his first race (a 1K) last year and had a blast.<br><br>

That's actually one of my goals - don't have any children myself, but I have a lot of fast nieces & nephews that I'd love to get out to some races in 2008
