Since the other one got so long, I figured I would start a new thread about Umstead.<br><br>
So my prep for the 50 is going nicely, I am looking forward to seeing everyone there.

I'm getting ready to lose my 100 virginity at Umstead...training is going very well despite the lack of cool weather this winter (it's 85 today and I'm SICK of sweating!!!!) We have a VERY large contingent coming up to NC from Florida...there are at least 10 runners in our caravan plus crews, pacers, and drunken spectators<img alt="banana.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/banana.gif">, so it should be a great weekend.<br><br>
Looking forward to finally meeting everyone...

I have no idea exactly who is planning on coming for crew...although I do have hopes.

I posted this last year for the Umstead Runners. I live ~20 minutes from the park and run there most weekends. I ran the loop of the 50/100 course with my Garmin for kicks a while back. I am 10 mins away and try to get there as much as possible.<br><br>
Once I get back from Jacksonville (next weekend) I am going to try to run at least one loop every Sunday as part of my long run if anyone is interested let me know.<br><br>
