Morning everyone. Not sure about your conditions, but it is geross here. 73 degrees and 94% humidity = sweat fest. I usually take Mondays off, but I got out there this morning for a very slow 3.5 mile recovery run.

Greetings, all.

Today is a no-run day, though I have the usual bi/tri/thigh/core/abs/butt stuff to do. I've only completed 2/3 of my core work, so I'm a little behind today.

Soupy here on the island too. Even at 6:15am when I went out for my run.

For some dumb reason, I chose to run up a hill this morning. There was a house way up there and I thought it would have a great view. It did, but dang, it was hard to get there...

I've done about 10 miles combined in two mornings here. I think I've got a good chance of reaching 25 for the week...

G'morning all. 1.8 mi with a minimalist shoe/barefoot combo, followed by strengthening and stretching, including this glute stretch I found online that looked/seemed easy enough to do. However my not-so-bendy right hip told me otherwise heh

Probably not much of anything today for Monday. Anyone do any racing this weekend other than Mindi and her fam?

Morning all! Got out for a soupy 7 miles this morning, I was drenched! And I caught my shorts on some dumb fence around a tree, ended up ripping the bottom of them but was more shocked than anything ...could not have hooked them on that fence again if I tried.

Morning. Still sore from softball. More than I expected. Nearly as sore as post-HM! But, I went to spin this morning and I'm still thinking I will return to running this week.

Hi.

3 for me this morning, just to see. I can feel the splinter spot with my shoe on, but it's much better than barefoot. So it looks like I'll be getting back to the regularly scheduled program.

No report here. While I was doing pilates last night - during the scissor kicks - something tweaked (actually tweaked isn't the right word - HURT) in my left groin. And then it continued to hurt to even walk last night. So I iced (and DH may or may not have provided a groin massage; Where is he when my feet and knees get tweaked?!?) and rested and decided that tackling the hills and trails would not be a good idea. It still feels a little funky today. So I'm taking the day completely off. But, it looks like it was a good day to skip it - holy crap it was 79 and crazy dew point at 5:30!

Cindi - youch! good decision to not run Hyland because it would have been dreadful in these conditions and would have really been stressful on whatever you tweaked. There is a lot of sections where you might run side to side a wee bit and I would think that would have been super painful. Not to mention, if something would have happened, you have to walk out of there...or risk being sucked dry by the bugs. :)

I should be in sales
