<p>Well done, weekend racers - <strong>Tonya, Baggs, RIL, Brandy, Maria </strong> <img alt="" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/hello2.gif" style="width:25px;height:27px;" title=""></p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong>BigG</strong> - I was walloped with a cold the week leading into MCM in '08 and could barely eat the few days leading into the race. I never had lunch the day before and my dinner was some chicken noodle soup and rice. Still, while (because?) I wasn't racing it, I ran my best 26.2 there (not my best time, but I enjoyed that race and felt good the whole way through).</p>
<p> </p>
<p> </p>
<p>I'm in need of some super-powered sunshine these days. I've hit my tolerance wall with this no-running stuff. </p>
<p><img alt="" class="bbcode_smiley" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies//smile.gif" title=""> I do, too. Sounds like a fun guys weekend, <strong>2oh</strong>. <img alt="" class="bbcode_smiley" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies//biggrin.gif" title=""></p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#008000;">Maria</span></strong> - a surf rod or surf pole is a fishing rod that's sturdier/longer than a standard fishing rod. It's used for catching fish right off the beach -- stripers, bluefish, etc. It needs to be sturdier to withstand the fighting of the fish and the power of the surf, and longer to allow for long casts. </p>
<p>Yeah - huh, <strong>Brandy</strong>?! <img alt="" class="bbcode_smiley" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies//biggrin.gif" title=""></p>
<p> </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Yes, <strong>Litch</strong>, it does. But so does how you use the rod. <img alt="" class="bbcode_smiley" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies//wink.gif" title=""><br><br><span>Quote:</span></p>
