Monday, October 31 - Halloween workouts

<p>DOR for me as usual on a Monday.</p>

<p>Weekend recap:</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Saturday: 2.5 hours (50 miles) on trainer; ran 2 miles; 2.5 ish hours (50 miles) on trainer; elliptical 20 minutes</p>
<p>Just wanted to note that scrabble on the kindle is a good time when you are just sitting there riding.  I was in the lead for most of the game then lost in the last few moves.  Not much to do when you have 4 i's in your deck and a baord with no place to put anything.</p>

<p>Sunday: 3000 Y swim</p>
<p>Made a Buerre Rouge sauce last night for the first time.  Was yummy but ended up breaking fairly soon after took off heat.  Bummer.</p>

<p>Happy treating to all those who have children that are treating.  I'm be leaving early to go hand out some candy. It is hubster's favorite holiday.</p>

<p>Recovering nicely from cross race. 1:04 run, 4.4 miles, included 15min in drills (4x). Run after drills was 12:37, 11:38, 11:30, and 11:30 - all z2 - feeling good. Shin not pleased, probably damage from wrecks yesterday and I'm not too worried. Bruised down deep i think, nothing visible.</p>
