Morning peeps

OK, this is the last time I'll worry you guys w/ this... but If anyone is interested in donating to my marathon charity (St Jude Children's Research Hospital), here is the link to my donation page.

Looks like today will be an USRD. DW was up all night sick, so I'm on baby duty while she rests. Its possible I may get something quick in on the TM, but doubtful. Sucks cause I was gonna try and cram runs in this week due to a Quota hunt I have this weekend. Thats what I get for tryin to make plans I guess

RA- Congrats on the run! I tried to spot you on the TV, but it looked like there were several others there running as well....

Mornin BBS,

Sorry about the USRD. I'll try to get on that site later and kick a few pesos your way. Hopefully others will do the same (ahem).

Finally I get to enjoy a little taper time. And unlike many I actually do enjoy the dialing back...the way I see it, you've put the work in and now's the time to consolidate it all with proper recovery before the big day. The hay's in the barn, as they say, now's when you stack it. Even in a short training cycle of only 11 weeks I know I've done the best I can to be ready.

So...the usual midday 7 today becomes a midday 5.

RA - hope you celebrated that awesome result yesterday appropriately.

SRD... Lots of walking yesterday has helped but my quads are sore. Got my finisher's jacket but then lost my sunglasses... very annoying. Heading to the airport soon.

BBS- hope DW feels better. Run twice as far tomorrow.
Hawk- yes, beer was flowing...

Headed to the metropark for a trail run. Managed to stay upright this time. But, good golly, running into/out of the river valley is tough!!! Lots of walking was had. Oh well, plan to run this until I master it over the winter. 4.7miles.

Good afternoon everyone. I spent the morning down at the federal court house in a jury panel or whatever they call it. At 11:30 it was over and they had selected their jury. I am not on it. If I was I would not be running for the next 2 weeks etc... So I came home and went running with my brother who is off work this week. 4 miles at 8:37 pace and it was the first run in a week.

Have a nice day everyone.
