Cyber Monday... I have had it w/ all the Christmas commercialization being shoved down my throat allready this year...

Wind chill 29*, w/ rain, 15mph North winds.... crap. Gonna try for 10 on the TM. 2 mile PR for me on the dread mill if I can hang on that long.... Gotta go in early tonight.

Happy Monday back-to-work day all.

Still in my forced post-marathon rest period from running. I'm hoping to get the bike out this evening for a little ride, probably in the dark which means I'll stick to the neighborhood. Fishbowl tomorrow. No running for 1 more week.

I did sign up for a race over the weekend however, a New Year's Eve 4 miler. Starting to think about early 2012 and race goals.

Meanwhile it's busy and a bit stressful at the office. Had a 2pm meeting scheduled and the boss told me to cancel it because he wants to me with me then. Didn't say why. Hmm...

BBS - I'm with you on the whole commercial Christmas thing. It's way over the top. Though I may grab a bargain or two online, so pot calls kettle black again.

kevin - enjoy the afternoon run.

Good luck on the 10, BBS. My treadmill tolerance is way lower than it used to be. Mill pr is 19 miles, I think. Yuck.

kfuller- enjoy the run later.

Hawk - I am impressed with the 2 week break. It doesn't drive you crazy?

Actually it is driving me quite crazy. But I know it's what I need to do to get a proper reset and start building up for spring. Trust me I'm dying to run now.

Nice job on all the running and such everyone. Got out for a nice run that turned into an unplanned tempo of sorts.

Kevin, that's a great acceleration.

I did another five miles, slow and easy, today. Today it got above 60 degree; we are really spoiled in New Hampshire, at least for a spell.

Good runs, all
