<p>Good morning, TEAM LIT!</p>

<p>Long Holiday Weekend Recap...</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Thursday: North Reading Turkey Trot. 5K race. Finished 18:04 in 6th place of 650 and 2nd in the old man category of 40+. Logged 8 miles on the day with warm up and cool down. Fun race. Wanted to come in under 18 minutes. Wanted to win old man category. Better luck next time!</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Friday: 10 mile mountain trail run up and down the trails of Wachusett Mountain. Ice and snow. Saw a small bear scamper off.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Saturday: 4 mile random run exploring nearby neighborhoods.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Sunday: 5 mile run down on Long Island, where I was the evening before for my little brother's engagement party.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Monday: 3.5 mile easy run.</p>

<p>Turkey Day: N Reading 5k Turkey Trot with hubster and other family.  first 1/2 mile hurt but after that I got into a groove and ended up doing sub 10 min miles so I was happy with that.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Friday-Sunday: Cleaned garage, made cookies, went out to dinner, visited family, helped mom decorate for holidays, went to post ironman party for teammate.  In other words, lots of nothing workout related.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Monday: Nothing workout related again unless errands and laundry count.  <span><img alt="smile.gif" id="user_yui_3_4_1_7_1322496964642_157" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif" style="width:16px;height:16px;"></span></p>

<p>1 mile run this morning.  Somewhere around 7:10.  This is actually supposed to be a rest week for me, but with the streak challenge, I figure 1 mile a day can't hurt, so keeping it going!</p>

Warm/low 50s - Sunny and calm. Crawford/Dix/Security/Widefield to Widefield Park trail to Fontaine/Grinnell/Crandall/Hubbell/Corliss/Crawford/Upton/home. Short easy effort run. Stretching afterward.</p>

<p>5.5mile run with DH.  Still continuing on with no-timed run.  Just don't feel like tracking time.  Maybe afraid of it based on how hard it feels.  Still. </p>
<p>1800m swim in the evening.  Hurried main set of 10x50m on 1:00 :)47-48 to the wall) due to pressed time.  Form was poor, I bet.</p>

<p>2 mile run.   lovely weather for it, upper 50's.  had some good beer with friends afterwards, much lower stress level now.</p>

What sort of drills/intervals do you do with 1 leg for 10-15 minutes?</p>

<p>3 miles at the club run.. broke 27 and wasn't really even pushing.. feeling good lately.  Then a great meeting with my new coach to get things going for Boston and Rev 3 :)</p>
