The Saints travel to San Francisco tonight to play the 49'ers. Most pundits have the Saints favored at 5 to 7 points, although a couple indicate that if San Francisco is able to keep Drew Brees off balance they have a chance to win tonight. Originally I thought last weeks victory over Minnesota indicated the Saints were as strong as last year but Favre and his team lost to Miami yesterday so maybe the Vikings aren't so strong this season.

Unfortunately the game starts at 8:30 Eastern and I have to be in bed by 10:00 so I can watch maybe the first half and then have to read about the rest of the story in tomorrow's paper.

I have a gut feeling the Niners will surprise folks by hanging around or even leading after the first half.

Then the Saints 2nd half adjustments will stymie the Niners in their tracks, and the Nawlins will win going away

And if Devery Henderson can pull in a TD or two, I'll be even more happy

IT'S GOOD! SAINTS WIN 25-22 with 0.00 time on the clock. Now to get to bed.

The Saints better not play this poorly against Atlanta on Sunday or the Falcons will be dancing on Bourbon Street.

Nothing official. He'll be x-rayed once the team returns to New Orleans.

ETA: Broken right fibula. He will be out for several games but possibly return later in the season.
