Good morning. Some schools are going back this week, most next week. The ones going back this week are to make up for all the snow days from last year that they could not fit in at the end of the year this year! I took Nyquil last night and slept 8 hours straight, first time in probably 2.5 years. It was great. I am feeling a bit better, but not sure if it is still the Nyquil, but it has been 11 hours. Going to take Zoe to an amusement park for little kids today. I was going to go to Sesame Place, but it would cost us probably $125 to just walk in the door, this place is $30. No brainer.

Porty,

Both kids take the bus! I don't walk DS to the bus stop anymore since it isn't cool, but i will take DD to her stop. Then I am going to ask the bus driver if she can just stop at our driveway since DD is the only person at the bus stop.

our neighbor had a bear of a time with her DD's bus last year. We live on a dead end street, at the very end, her DD was just 6yo and they dropped her off at the end of the street 1/4 mile away, and it was down hill and around a corner, so you could not even see it. They refused to drop her off at the house even though they would drive down the street to turn around. She was the only one dropped off there. Poor kid. Our elderly neighbor had to often drive down and get her. Ridiculous.

Up and took Ronan for a nice walk - it's a cool morning. I saw Geese in flight this weekend - that means Fall isn't far away and the morning fog over the lake confirms it.

A conference call first then off for a golf outing for work. One thing about golf - it can screw up the BEST of days!

Have a great one all

Boiler,
Are you and the other Jacksonville residents stocking up for the possible hurricane?
Stay dry, stay safe, and hang on!

My youngest son's girlfriend just moved to Miami, and is in a mini-panic. Son is in Tampa area, and has been told to stock up, just in case.

Son#1 is in the eastern section of south carolina, and is hoping the storm dumps a ton of rain to get the river levels back up after the summer drought.

Right now, we are not to worried about it. I bought some extra water yesterday and 2 more loaves of bread. we could use the rain here also. All the ponds etc are WAY down. I will let you know by Thursday if people are freaking out.
