Can i get a do-over this morning? Ended up having a brain freeze moment and couldn't get the right code into the alarm system at work before the thing went off. As if that was annoying enough, as it was before 8am, the security company couldn't call the office to verify things, because our phones were still on night mode.

Despite my panicked calls to a couple of co-workers (one not even reachable at 7:59am), no one knew who handled our security or what the passcode was. Even when 4 other coworkers showed up - no clue. By 8:05, the president's daughter came in, on the phone "Did anyone set off the alarm?!" (the company called her dad directly, when they couldn't reach us). Sadly, even he didn't know the right passcode.

Nor did the office manager. See a pattern forming here? She did at least call the security company and give them what we thought was the passcode. (and now I have the security number, which is more info than I had an hour ago)

The cops came out. I hung my head in shame and told them that I was the one who set off the alarm and we would have been MORE than happy to relay the right passcode to the security company and abort their trip here, if anyone here knew the correct passcode. The cops snickered a little, at least.

Needless to say, Mondays usually suck, but today has started off on a high note.
