No run for me today, but nobody else seems to want to post.

Feeling chipper after yesterday's loooong run. You know that you're training for something big when a good run gets you paranoid.

Have good... umm... satisfying runs all.

My running is sucking right now and has been for the past couple of weeks. Much business to do, plus some signigicant soreness in the right adductor. But things are improving!

Just an easy 37 min on the TM today (3.5 mi) to loosen up the calves after yesterday's run. I may go back for some stretching and weights tonight, but no running.

Today is my day off. I really skipped my rest day last week. . .oops.

Yesterday, I went to the gym and slogged out 8 miles on the dreadmill. It was pretty cool, though. . .we were in the middle of our "white-out", so there were three of us in there!

Today is a non-run day for me. I did 15 minutes on the Natural Runner, and then 20 minutes on the elliptical when one opened up. I followed up with some stretching, ab work, and weights (chest)

Cross-training day today: I taught yoga and worked out for 40 minutes on the elliptical. I followed that with an epsom bath and stretching.

Late post from the West Coast; 5 miles along the beach path. Nice and easy on a clear cool evening.

Late afternoon/evening run of 8.02 miles (according to gmaps) in 1:40:40. I walked some due to snowy and icy sidewalks and my ITB issues. Had to walk up most of a hill that was just killing my knee.

Temp at beginning of run 25F, end 23F but it felt much, much colder. I was in a hollow part of the run though, that could account for the temperature variation.

No blisters although my pinky toe on my right foot is a bit tender. I wore Wright socks, better ones than the last pair I bought which actually caused blisters on a 6 mile run.

Good job on your runs, tigger, Durt, ms. forward and Floridaboiler!
