Morning everyone

My right hip feels like I got kicked by a mule... I have some other glitches here and there too as a result of yesterdays run. I'm hoping an easy 3 mile TM run will help out.

Fishbowl this morning. Water MUCH cleaner than yesterday. Seems they cleaned the deck and washed everything into the pool. YUCK!!! 2000meters with pool toys. Scratched the second paddle set as my arms are dead from riding in aero yesterday. Added 500meter walk because it sounded like a good idea.

BBS--I wouldn't be able to move the day after a race like that!

btw--my posts are also going to facebook. Friends say they wanna read about my workouts, not me commenting on friends workouts. That's why I've been starting with my workouts, then commenting.

Glad to hear the pool got cleaned, 4bm.

Good morning BBS. Have a good run later.

Resting for me today. This is my final training week before tapering. Finally starting to plan out my trek to Boston. I'm what you would call a procrastinator when it comes to certain things.

Hey all.

Actually for me it's optional rest day. I could do some cross-training if I feel like it later...maybe a ride now that 4BM has given some guidance on how dress properly for the cold. We'll see if time allows. I was in pretty early to work today for a meeting so hopefully that translates to leaving early...hopefully.

BBS - I didn't do the 5k yesterday. I signed up for it a few weeks ago but immediately discovered it was going to be a problem for me to even make it. I held out hope that maybe I could still do it, but reality overtook that idea. Finally around 6pm last night I realized I had completely missed it. It's OK, though. I'm looking forward to a mid-week 5K (Thursday) race which is right on the college campus across the street from work. It's scheduled for 12 noon, a perfect lunchtime getaway and Cherry Blossom tune-up race. Nice job on that trail run yesterday.

4BM - sounds pretty gross with the pool. Glad they got that cleaned up.

Jill - it will be um, interesting to see what type of accommodations you can line up this late. Hopefully you're not too far out from Boston Common.

Hello party people. Mojo-less today. I phoned in my p90x workout, and jogged a couple of miles before bagging it for the day.

My daughter is starting up her spring season of Run Club after school today. We need to start logging some miles for her kids marathon on April 26. She has to have 25 miles logged, and we have 3.2 so far.

SRD for me. The inside of my left knee is bugging me. It started feeling a bit funky yesterday afternoon. Will have to keep and eye on that...

Jebba - mile a day?

Hawk - I have a 5k on Sunday. I am not looking forward to it... I'd rather do a 10 miler like you. Much less painful.

Jill- yep, it's a long walk to Boston

4boysmom - nice to hear that they removed the floaters.

BBS - after a mule kick, I tend to take a day off.

Good morning everyone. I got out for a progression type run. 5.25 miles in 43:20(8:15). Now I am all tired and worn out. I am thinking of making this week a mostly easy week. Nice job on all of the workouts today.

Official results are posted for my 5k on Saturday. When times were posted on saturday at the race I was not on them. They do have me on the official results though.

They have 20:00, but I timed 19:59 and I am going with that time. It just sounds better.

Greetings from New Jersey! Got in 12 this morning on a mixed paved/trail path. Meant to do it yesterday but after doing 2-1/2 out and back with my brother decided that 5 was enough. Nice to be on vacation and able to be flexible. Nice race this weekend kfuller and hope everyone's week is starting off well.
