<p>Hope everyone got up on time today...</p>

<p>Went in to work early last night, and gotta do it again tonight.  Rainy and col here, so I guess I'm going to stick to the TM.  Hoping to get 5 miles in.  I hope I can find something good on TV...</p>

<p>Planned on sleeping in as it's a rest day.  However, I woke at 6:30 and was up for the day.  Hate it when that happens...  IT band is very painful this morning.  Uh oh.  NOT GOOD.  Loosened up nicely on the bike yesterday so may put Sapphire on the trainer for an easy spin today. </p>

<p>4boys - Sorry about the IT, hope the spinning does it some good.</p>
<p>RA - Milwaukee is a week before Chicago (10/2).  It filled up in April last year.  I really would like do the half you're running this Sunday as a long run, but I probably can't make it up there.</p>

<p><span>5-6 miles planned at lunch today, which I will hopefully do on the little GMU campus trail loop. It's only about 1.1 miles around so I'll have to do a few loops.</span></p>

<p><span>Speaking of trails, I signed up for my final spring target race last night. I'm doing the North Face Endurance Challenge when it comes to this area in June...doing the half marathon on 6/5. No idea what to expect in terms of time, but I'm guessing my 1:29 road HM PR will be quite safe. In any case, it should be an interesting departure from my other 2 target races, which are both road 10 milers.</span></p>

<p>Gotta go...(zooms away leaving sonic boom behind).</p>

<p>Feeling like *&% this morning as DD's cold in now in me.  Luckily it's a SRD.  However; this is the curse of the HM.  I'll be nice and drained by Sunday and stink it up. </p>

<p><strong>Hawk</strong> - I think you have to use North Face hiking books for that race.  Check the fine print.</p>
<p><strong>zrun</strong> - nice job on the early run.  A bit chilly out there. It seems I'll have to make a decision on Milwaukee vs Grand Rapids pronto.</p>
<p><strong>4boysmom</strong> - hope the jewel of the trainer helps with the IT band.  I kept telling DW to get on her bike.</p>
<p><strong>BBS</strong> - have fun on the TM.</p>

<br><br><p>Ha ha...I've seen the pictures from last year's race. Time will tell on whether this is my dumbest idea EVER. The Asics Trail Attacks will certainly get a workout that day.</p>

<p>6 easy trail miles done over lunch. 4 x 30 second striders at the end just to open it up a little. Nice day out aside from the ever present wind. Really looking forward to the end of the "lion" part of March. These windy days are getting old.</p>

<p>Good afternoon everyone.  2 X 15 minutes with 3 minutes rest this morning.  My stomach has not been feeling good all day.  Hopefully nothing serious.  The run is in the books. </p>

<p>first 15 minutes at 7:45  and then 7:44.  Not what I wanted, but with the way I am feeling today I will have to take it.</p>
