Good morning, TEAM LIT!

Some great workouts fom LIT Nation over the weekend. Love to see that!

Me...

2+ mile easy keep-the-streak alive run on an otherwise rest day.

Training class all day (and all week). Will try not to snooze.

37m 12s - 4.15 miles - 08m 58s/Mi

7:15 AM

Equipment: Nike Pegasus 01/11

Cold/mid 20s - sunny and calm. Crawford/Puckett/Security/Kiva/Fontaine/Grinnell/Crawford/Upton/home. Short easy pace run. Stretching afterward.

Thor - nice placing in your 5K. The front end of the 5K here was really fast too. You would have been 5th Master, just behind a 64 year old guy who ran 17:39! First place overall was a 42 year old who ran 15:07, but he's a 3 time Olympian and this was a slow time for him.

3.6 mile run at lunch...heading to the pool after work.

Julie - yes, the plan is to do the Groton 10K...most likely will sign up tomorrow.

6.5miles recovery run. Felt easy and smooth. I had a little pull in my groin toward the end of the 20 yesterday and was a bit worried but it is gone. Ankle is not causing any concerns either. I did sign up for the half this Sunday. Will start easy and bring the effort to the max for the last 5k. It will be a good test to my patiance. Looking forward to it.

3 mile monday....

32:52 -- wow! Less than an 11:00 pace. Not much less, but less.
10:49
11:36
10:26 (faster than the first!!!)

My 5k PR is 32:02....so, I'm pretty sure that means that this was a good run this morning.

Neither one of use felt great....legs a little less bouncy than we'd like, but still...managed a nice run.

Having that last mile faster than the first has been something I haven't seen in awhile.

Yesterday.... we rode, and Ms. Rabbit got to experience "fitness hill" Her reaction: "I sweart to God if I can walk when we get home, I'm going to kick your a$$!" lol

I told her she'd have to catch me first. I'll likely pay for that tomorrow on the track, but it was nice to give it back.

At breakfast on Saturday, the dude who paced me to that PR challenged me to get sub-30 this year. Intimidating....yup. But, looking at this now..... dunno. At least I can see the tunnel of that 30-min mark whereas up to now....I wasn't even sure the tunnel even existed, if you know what I mean.

P90x at the crack of dawn this morning, 30 minutes with Coach Troy on the trainer this afternoon. That is enough for today.

DH is doing P90x with me and is really enjoying it. It's much easier getting out of bed at 4:30am when we both do it.

Ended up sweating in the studio, awesome and intense class. Allergies have been KILLING me lately, last night was the first time in a few days that I didn't have a spastic asthmatic coughing attack. Boooo for pollen season! Fortunately it's raining today which will calm things down.

Great Monday workouts all!

I am loving DST because last night after work it was light out when I ran.

3.8mi run around the Charles after work -- my longest run since last November. I am going to try and put a back-to-back tonight with another run.

Running, my old friend, I have missed you.
