LOTS of good racing around here this weekend! Way to make the young guys run till they puke, ks. And holy carp you've got a big week ahead of you. I've done 12's in the same week as a 23, but certainly not throwing in an 18 miler mid week. Oy.

Big congrats to Heme on her race and no falling off cliffs. Geez. And I always wonder why they pull the overall winners out of the AG? I mean, it's worked out well for me a time or two, but still... I don't get why they do that.

Way to trip up the system there, Rip. Let us know when the results are up, but I'm sure you did amazingly well as usual. And are you saying you won't run a marathon unless you're almost certain of a sub-3? Hmmm, nothing is certain, but I bet you could do it right now.

FO, I always say part of the secret to success is just out-lasting the competition. Nice job on the AG win this weekend. And, um, who is that?

I hope your ankle is ok, Happy Feat. Ankles are complicated beasts and can be difficult to heal up.

Tomwhite forgot talk like a pirate day? I was wondering about that. When does Pickles get back? I think of SteveP (from RA) when his wife leaves town and he has the dog clean the dishes... What will Pickles find?

I ran the Equinox on Saturday, and didn't make my goal but still got a personal best on that course out of it. I was over-confident that I could finally nail a sub-4 on that course, or maybe a 4:05... but nope. Managed 4:12:26 which is almost a 3 minute PR but that's it. Didn't feel "strong" on any of it, so knew my goal was out of reach. But still, it was a beautiful day, the mud wasn't bad and the puddles were manageable. Can't beat a gorgeous September day around here. DH took some pictures and I'll share some when I finally get my act together to get them organized.

Ran 4.1 easy miles yesterday afternoon in another postcard beautiful day here. Now going out for an easy run at lunch before the sprinkles come later on.
