7 in 58:00-which is pretty good for me It's going to be beautiful here in the NE. Yesterday was great too. I had all three of my kids out hiking for the first time. My older son kept trying to "run" the trail. I love when they pick up my "good" habits but it makes me wonder what bad ones he is picking up....
It was just a 5k treadmill run, but significant because it was the first time in several weeks that I ran with passion. I have not run well since my HM a month ago, and it seemed like every part of me was tired. Today was different....I felt energized and ready to run. Maybe the start of something good!
No run today. Scheduled day off from running.

Plan on doing my other exercise routine tonight, in between baking banana-strawberry breads and banana nut muffins.
1:05 trail run with the group tonight. A new guy came out and he was really nice and we ran the whole night together!!! oh yeah, it was raining a lot too
Marathon Training started Monday, so I figure I might as well keep myself honest by posting my run/exercise reports here (since no one posts them at that other place anymore. ) EQ has given me some great Pfitz plan advice - thanks my friend!

It was a cross-training day: 45 minutes out on the bike. Forgot to reset my computer, but I'm guessing my avg. was about 16mph. Hit 28mph at one point, which was a ton of fun considering the speed limit was 30.

Evening - 5.7 hilly miles, including 9 by 100 meter striders at 5k pace. I saw two bears....second one was curious and began to approach me, but when he got within a hundred feet or so he realized I wasn't a bear and he took off. Gawd them animals have bad eyesight!
