8.25 mile run this morning. Was supposed to do 8x100 also, but only managed 4 of those. I tripped on a crack in the sidewalk and fell hard about 3.5 miles into my run. Scared the hell out of me. I am scraped and bleeding in about 8 different spots. I left a lovely sweaty, bloody smear on the sidewalk. I was going to stop home to clean up and then finish my run, because I was close to my house, but I just said screw it and finished my run anyways. The rest of it went well.<br><br>
I am the picture of gracefulness right now. <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif">

8.25 miles w/ 10 x 100s and no spills. (Sorry, aphi, since I know you're okay, I can razz you a little, right?) <img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif"><br><br>
I think I was only supposed to do 8 x 100s. Oh, well.

Sorry aphigirl01 - THought I was the only one that took diggers on sidewalks that weren't icey. Knock on wood - its been since last summer - but last year I did 3 on dry sidewalks and 3 on icey ones.<br><br>
8 very slow miles this am - not sure why but hips and core area was extremely sore, so I just went slow.

6 very easy, very slow ones. Heat index 95 degrees.<br><br>
Passed a guy that will be pacing a local ultrarunner at Badwater dressed in a heavy fleece that was zipped up to his chin.

Was that around noon time? I almost turned around as I did not recognize you, but you called me Flounder.<br><br>
Did we meet at the Oshkosh 1/2 marathon in April ?<br><br>
I run that 5-6 days a week in the morning. Its 3 miles to CB and JJ from my house - Its about 6.5 miles to the Hyw 10 freindship trail - I usually head west out of town, but sometimes I head to the tressel bridge and on.

It was probably around 6:45am. I take my daughter to swim team at 6:30am, we both get an early workout!<br>
Yes, Fox Runner introduced me to you at the Oshkosh Half. I saw you finish the Green Bay Marathon, you actually paced a friend of mine who was running the half. He was really glad he ran with you as he learned a lot about pacing that day. Keep up the good work!

As for me, today is my day off from running. I might do my exercise routine tonight.<br><br>
Two-a-day tomorrow. 6 in the AM, 4 in the PM. AM on pavement, PM on trail.

S-T-R-E-T-C-H / Abs / and a poor excuse for a 6.5 mile run this morning. I swear I lost ALL fitness, or left it in Florida~~ When will I get it back??? Sort of a walk / run after the first 3 miles....<br><br>
Hot one again, 88* but feels like 93*

I was going to ride my bike tonight, but I'm feeling tired and lazy. Gotta run early tomorrow morning anyway, and I can bike on Sunday. So it's a rest day! Yipee!<br><br>
Aphi, I was running along the sidewalk earlier this year, stepped on a lone pine cone, and sprained my ankle. I'm right there with you on the gracefulness!

Week 2 of my comeback trek to running. Temps were about 10 degrees cooler than <span style="color:#FF0000;"><b>HELL!<br><br></b><span style="color:#000000;">I ran on the trail that's covered with trees, but the humidity (and the extra 30 pounds I was carrying) made the slow determined run - <i><b>slow and determined!<br><br></b></i>3 miles but walked a few times when my thighs tightened... My goal is to be back to 4 to 5 mile runs a few times a week by the first week of August...(16 to 20 miles a week for the month of August is my goal.)<br><br><br>

6.5 miles on the trail. it was long and hot and i was very cranky with the person that led the run. When they went thru the patch of poison ivy i turned around and met them at another point on the trail. i was cranky and it was too hot for adventure.<br><br>
Alphi- i fall a lot lately. it sucks.

I took a pilates class this afternoon. My coach had given me the option of 400s with lots of rest on the track or to do my 2 X 2 mi tempo interval workout indoors. After pilates I went outside and it was still about 100 with the heat index and sun beating down, and I am a total wimp about running in heat especially w/o shade, so I parked it on a treadmill right under an oscillating fan and banged out 6 miles including the tempo intervals. It felt great and Tempo pace finally felt comfortably hard, not horrible -- I think I was so happy to not be outside I ran extra well tonight.<br><br>
I hope this falling stuff isn't contagious. Oh wait, all I have to do to fall these days is get on my bike! I still have scabs from the last time. Be careful out there, y'all.

4 mile run followed by 25 minutes of abs/leg work at lunch then about 90 minutes of soccer after work as part of a tryout/practice for a soccer tournament that is coming up in a few weeks.

I did five miles on the treadmill.<br><br>
I can't think of any way to sex up this post or make it exciting in any way.
