Rest day!

The hound and I had a long assignment this morning. We worked check in for a camp for kids in foster care. For some, this was their 3rd or 4th year. Yes, that is how long they have been in foster care... We arrived at 7:45 adn the buses didn't pull out until 11:15. Fun, but very draining.

Rest day today....back to training tomorrow.

Tonight - doctor appointment to see if I have Lyme Disease. I've been feeling....just not right for a month (e.g. neck has been killing me for the past week, old injuries flare up and then go away two days later, etc.), and everything is kind of pointing towards it being Lyme Disease. I hope to have an answer tonight or in the next few days. I just want to feel better.

Have a great day everyone!

let's see... I went to bed at 1 AM, after a midnight walk out to special needs to pick up AdCo's bags. Then I got up at 6 AM to drive him down to the madness that is the finisher's merch line. After a lovely breakfast at a diner downtown with Cake, I came back and sorted out the horror that is day-after ironman bags.

Now I'm internetting, and watching AdCo drift in and out of sleep on the couch. All in all, a very exciting day.

Swim test - sprint style. Who knew that swimming 3X100 all out is just as hard as swimming 3X300 all out? Final tri of the season for me is a sprint in September. Still taking a fairly relaxed approach to training.

We were just in Montreal on the 18th. Love love love that city.

Bagged my swim this morning for an extra 1.5 hours of much needed sleep. Got on the trainer this afternoon, hoping for an hour but ended up with 15 minutes when the kiddo woke up prematurely from his nap. So I'm just gonna count this as a rest day.
