Good morning everyone.

Up and at it with another TM run. Today I ran hills at level 10 @ 7.0 - 7.2 mph and fnised with a 3 min sprint at 9.5 for a total 5.6 miles in 45 minutes.

Happy training everyone.

Good Morning,

I actually had a decent run today. First time in a week where I didn't feel like I was going to cough up a lung. I did take it easy and only run 4 miles and my pace was horrible but at least I was back on the roads.

Nice Run David.

Morning...

Dave - Sounds like a tough workout. Nice going.

FB - Glad you're feeling better.

David--I don't know how you do it. I mean, I know that the dreadmill is your only choice. I doubt I'd have the dedication!

FB--kindly keep those germies to yourself! We have a nasty cold going 'round these parts. Son2 has been sick for about a week now. Last night at church the worship leader had the worst cough and no voice. I DO NOT have time to get sick!

Dan--enjoy the rest.

Put me in the rest column for today. Pretty much planned, but good timing. I didn't get home until after 11 last night and am really dragging this morning!

It snowed like 5" last night, but I trucked on into work anyway. And what do they award me with? Why they are forcing me to hold over because half of day shift called out.

Have 5 with hill repeats on schedule... Doubt that happens. I'd like to get a snow run in today tho.... We'll see.

Good morning all -- wow, busy already in here!

Nice job on the mill Dave!

Glad you are back out there FB.

Enjoy the rest Dan and 4BM.

Sorry about the extra work BBS - hope you can get that run in...

I did another 10 miles on the canal path. Looks like there is some kind of crow turf war going down on the tow path. Saw the body of a crow in the middle of the path and then about another 10 meters further, I saw its severed wing... yikes!

Morning all,

Rest day for me today.

Forecast here say snow maybe tomorrow. So far this winter, far we've gotten a couple of dustings but this one may result in a little more than that..

Dave - 10% incline for that whole run? That sounds really tough.

FB - glad you were able to get back out there.

Dan/4bm - enjoy the rest days

BBS - I hear you on the workplace. I came in early today because of an early morning meeting (and I HATE early morning meetings), only to get here and find out it was canceled.

loopy - maybe the crows were catching up on their Sopranos DVDs over the weekend.

Nice job on all the running and resting. I got out for 5 miles in 44:20(8:52). The first mile was at 9:36 and the the last 3 miles were all under 9 minute pace. It was a good run, but I woke up with a sore achilles or soreness in that area. I guess I need some icing and stretching.

I decided to run the worst 10 miler of my life this morning. Even after an enforced rest day (well DD is sick so no one has been sleeping much so hardly rest) my legs were just leaden. I plodded along suffering in silence and then my right foot got sore so was pretty much jogging. I just could get going but stuck it out and get it done. It's going to be a loooong winter. Oddly it was 22F when I headed out and 20F when I got back.

kfuller - nice job on the 5'er. Take are of that AT.

Hawk - rest up. Sorry about the Eagles - they fell off late in the season and didn't recover. We'd hoped that they'd take out the Packers since the Bears couldn't pull that one off.

Loopy - I keep hearing reports of flocks of birds turning up dead. East coast vs West coast problem? Well east bank vs west back in your case.

BBS - That sucks. Perhaps the snow will have melted when you leave in a day or so?

Dan & 4boysmom - rest up too (or is that two?)

FB - nice job keeping the lungs in your chest.

Dave - you are a machine!

Not 10% incline for the whole run. I ran the TM hill workout at level 10. Which took me to about 8% incline. Sorry for the confusion.

Dave, great workout.

12.5 miles for me yesterday and rest day today. This snow is going to mess with my schedule this week. I might actually have to run on the treadmill. Winter!

Hi everyone. Snow day today, so after some sledding, we've been holed up in the house. 6 miles on treadmill.
