Good morning, TEAM LIT!

Dawg: Nicely done in moving on up the fitness chain!

TASM: Nicely done to you too for being and staying so consistent... and now with spinning!

Yoshi: Great job on the 20 miler.

Don: You'll come back around. This "down time" will probably prove good for you, since you've been hitting it hard for a long time now. So you'll probably get the mental break needed before hammering onward!

Weekend Recap...

Saturday: 15 mile run with a large group. Got away with wearing shorts. Loved it. Fun run. Social. Total time including stops for water was 2:01.

Sunday: 7+ mile trail run with three others in my favorite place to run trails. Some good climbs but otherwise conversational pace. At the end I tagged on 8 repeats of a very steep grassy hill that climbed, maybe, 200 or more feet at roughly 20% grade.

Monday: 4 mile tempo run in a slippery snow.

Great day, Friends!

This day in history:

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, the political and spiritual leader of the Indian independence movement, is assassinated in New Delhi by a Hindu fanatic.

Also, my older brother's 48th birthday!

Elliptical 1 hour

Weekend recap:

Saturday: 5k run around the lake with my niece who needed to talk and prefers that we do that during a run together. Love that about her. Was faster pace than my recent Thursday runs but I felt it more. I need to loose some weight to get rid of this labored feeling when I run. It is killing my spirit.

YoSake: Nice 20 miler. That distance is hard for me without any company.

Don: Know what you are feeling. Do what feels right. Hope the new job stuff is going well.

Thor: Favorite trail location? Looking for locations for our Saturday social trail run group. We've been to Maudsley, Winnikinni and looking at Pipestave. Other options would be great.

TASM: You're doing awesome!
