If it's not too much to ask, can you all send vibes for my dad? He went into the hospital tonight with shortness of breath, and showed an irregular EKG. It's NOT a heart attack, but they'll be testing in the morning for blockages. He had a stent put in a few years ago, so there's a history there.<br><br>
Any thoughts, prayers, vibes, or whatever would be greatly appreciated. Thanks folks.<br><br><i><br><br>
I suppose I'll have to have to give him grief if he's not able to drink his St Patty's Day beer...</i>

I'm so out of touch with the news that I get all of it here lately. Tornado in Atlanta...heard about it here. Gov of NY prostitution ring case...heard about it in the PRT. I just found out on Friday that I'm confirmed to stay with this client through May 31. That's good and bad...there's been a lot of upheaval in our household the past week (BF got new job traveling), this means I get to be the one at home coordinating everything we're planning to make the house more secure for when we're both away for 4 days at a time.<br><br>
And to celebrate the BF's new job, he went out and spent his vacation payout on a 50" TV. For a room that's maybe 10x10, tops. I'm getting used to it, but I'm not sure I really like it. A little much, perhaps.<br><br>
Anyhow, I'm a grumpy Gus this morning, I have to shake it off and get ready for work.<br><br>

Thanks for those asking about the tornado. The worst of it was downtown on Friday. There are still streets closed while they clean up the debris that is still on the streets/sidewalks. I will be down there (hopefully) Weds for hockey, so I'm curious to see if they get that stuff cleaned up before then. Damage is estimated at 150 million.<br><br>
This week should be much less stressful than the past few. I actually have nothing going on after work today! Nothing!! So I'm gonna run! <img alt="biggrin.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/biggrin.gif"><br><br>

Yup, today is a holiday for me. I am at work, though, and switching it out for a day off in April.<br><br>
I am T-I-R-E-D. Not sure why, even, other than that I am on some heavy-duty antibiotics for my ongoing tooth thing and, right about the time they start really working, they also start causing tummy issues and general wipe-outedness.<br><br>
So, it's a good thing it's a holiday at work, because I can just clean my office and stare slack-jawed at my computer and no one will be the wise. <img alt="wink.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/wink.gif"><br><br>

Mix the vodka, kahlua and bailey's and pour over ice. Pour the creme de menthe down the center of the glass. Looks gross, but tastes delicious!

Thanks for all the compliments on my hair. I had to work for a few hours yesterday, and my coworkers all liked it too. One of them said it took 5 years off my age. <img alt="biggrin.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/biggrin.gif"> I like the sound of that. I was going to have my BIL color it as well, but he didn't have time yesterday. He was awake for only about 2.5 hours before he had to leave for work (works 7p-7a as a nurse) and he spent most of that time rough-housing with the kids. It was cute, and it helped burn up some of their energy because they were driving my sister and me a little batty before he woke up. <img alt="lol.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/lol.gif"><br><br>
3 more days til I leave for vacation. <img alt="banana.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/banana.gif"> I have a ton of stuff to do at work before I go.
