1 hour stair stepper, girlie pushups, arms, abs

WTPJ- I did 2 big boy pushups for you. They were not spectacular and i did not get as low as i would like, but i did them. Will keep trying a couple each time

Looking forward to a nice run in the park this afternoon.

Good job with the big boys!

8 miles in the park for me this morning still getting the legs back into the flow. Wonderful weather here (60?F) for running so I went sans shirt and felt nice and free during my workout.

Enjoy your runs, workouts and push ups (of all kinds).

Didn't sleep much last night - I feel much better, but I could lay down or I was coughing constantly - Tried to sleep in the reclining sofa -

Postponed the LAT workout and just did an easy run - Upper 50s - 10mph south wind and light rain in the beginning - Cloudy in the middle and sun at the end

11 easy miles - No watch

Grizzly - Sounds like you are going down a good path of recovery right now - Keep it up!

Stuggled this morning with my run but I think that it was a little hydration problem. Plus for yet another run I was fighting the wind!! But at least the temps were nice (47 degrees).

Meri-I think I will always be stuck doing girlie push-ups. Good work on doing the big boys.

Struggled through a 7 miler at lunch. Temp 81 degrees, wind 23 mph gusting to 31, legs still tired from Saturdays hilly 19 miler, and yesterdays yard work combined with to little to drink.

The wind stood me up a second time and I literally just stopped running at 5.5 miles. My body refused to run another step. Can you hit The Wall at 5.5 miles? Walked for a couple minutes then resumed running.

Finished with a 8:15 m/m pace average. Ugh...

5 @ Lunch - low 60s 15 mph winds and sunny - perfect weather for an easy run - Winds has changed from south this am to north west at lunch - I hope it doesn't blow in too cold of weather

First really hot night of the year. I left the house at 86 degrees in the shade. Fortunately some clouds rolled in or I would have been toast.

Legs were like concrete tonight.
Run Segments
1:15 trail run tonight. First really hot day of the year. We all struggled. One of the guys in the group who was running with the other pack had heat stroke! craziness.

This morning I taught yoga.

After work I did 50 minutes of stationary cycle including 5 X 4:00 95% effort intervals. Then it was time for my 20 minute run. My coach said to try one outside this week so I took advantage of a gorgeous day to run along the river behind work. It was so nice to see the pretty scenery and hear things and appreciate the surroundings. I always feel like I can run by the water forever.

My foot was not unmanageably achy during the run, but is more achy now, so I will stay on the treadmill for the time being. Also I feel like I have lost some fitness, but it will come back.

Then I practiced riding my new bike tonight -- clipped in and out a bunch of times and did a lot of turns. It is going to be a while before it feels natural or comfortable after only riding mountain and hybrid bikes.
