mmmm it's a school night so probably pretzles. I've weaned myself off of the dayquil/nyquil so food is looking kind of appealing again.<br><br>
OH and I did make the co-workers Hobey's brownies this weekend. The co-workers LOVE them. I tried a corner and they were good but the middle didn't get baked like they should have. OH WELL.

huh... our SOS is chipped beef and cream of mushroom with out Tabasco. Tabasco is da debbil. We Wisconsoners don't like heat with our meals. We prefer plain, bland and boring.

California sushi bowl tonight. Sort of a deconstructed California roll - sushi rice topped with lump crabmeat, cucumbers, avocado, nori all tied together with a citrus-soy dressing.<br><br>

I am making fish tacos for the first time. Gonna use Hobey's Lime Slaw. Made some sauce for them this morning. First time in my life I ever bought or made anything with a jalapeno.<br><br>
Sauce is: low fat mayo, fat free yogurt, cayenne pepper, cumin, italian seasoning, lime juice, half a jalepeno. Spicey!!!

We're having frozen pizza! We don't usually have this, but we just got back from vacation yesterday, and I haven't been to the store yet. DH picked up frozen pizza yesterday so we can have an easy meal tonight while we are trying to finish unpack and do laundry and such. Tomorrow is grocery day, so I'll get something good. We did have pinwheel steaks last night with feta cheese and spinach rolled up in them. Mmmm! We had a great salad with spinach, apples, feta, and pecans as well. DH is the cook, so he makes really good food normally.<br><br>
If you think Tabasco is hot, you haven't seen anything! Try a little habanero sauce! Come down to Texas, and I'll show you hot! We had some decent Mexican food in Colorado, but nothing beats the local places here. No Mexican food for me until after my race on Sunday!<br><br>
I gotta go get the dishwasher unloaded and reboot my laundry! This is the part of vacation I hate -- coming home!

Sounds perfect for us! I'll have to try that! Jalapenos aren't that bad. They are not the hottest pepper, believe it or not. DH ate them whole as a kid. I have a great black bean and corn salsa that has jalapenos in it, and it is delicious!!

We had Turkey a la King....kind of like bannon's SOS only I served it over rice. Worked well to use up the extra turkey from the roast last night.<br><br>
The kids liked it the bland way I made it but yes, I did eat mine with hot sauce....louisiana though, not tabasco.
