No running for me this week. A nice needed rest. I am going to try to get some kind of workout in though.

Morning all,

Busy busy busy...OK, I know they say it's good to be that way but this is getting a little old. Not enjoying the higher stress level now associated with my job that's for sure. Even my "vacation" next week is going to have to be interrupted by work. The problem is I have a new boss who is both a) inexperienced and b) demanding. It's a lethal combo.

I think I'll pound out some frustration on the treadmill at the gym in a little while. Monday is frequently a rest day for me but since I'll be traveling cross country on Friday that seems to make more sense as my rest day this week. At least our office is closed Thursday...and yes, I'm already thinking about just how LONG my run is going to be that day. By then I should be feeling pretty grinchy so it will take a lot of miles to get that outta me and restore balance.

Looks like a restful group today...enjoy that and see you on the roads tomorrow.

Quiet group today. Am I the only one running?

6.36 miles total on the gym TM, the 10k program as they call it. Actually it's a 10k run + 2 minute walk cooldown. Progression run again, but I changed things up a little from the usual.

First 2 miles - started at 6.0, added 0.1 every 200

Mile 2.0 - 4.0 @ 7.6 (7:53/mile)

Mile 4.0 - 6.0 @ 8.3 (7:13/mile)

Final 0.2 of run portion @ 10.0-10.3

I didn't even feel that winded at the end.
