Beginning of Half Marathon Training plan for me today.

10 min warm up,

12x(1/4 mile repeats in 1:30 or better on 1/4 mile easy recovery),

10 min cool down.

Nailed all the repeats and total workout came out to 1:07:30 and 8.32 miles. Had strength and core scheduled today, but didn't do it before the run as I got a late start. Will probably do it later this afternoon.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas, got all you wanted and were able to GIVE all you wanted too!

Ran 2.25 mi. Decided to make it "progressive tempo". Haven't done that in awhile. I know I'm not supposed to try to PR any distances this season, but...

Also, got back to the house & noticed blood on my jacket. Turns out I snot rocketed a bloody nose on myself!

(it was pretty windy during one stretch)

Daily run. Back to work today. It was so busy it was almost like we were giving stuff away. Tired when I got home, but got the run in. I decided to run after work in hopes there would be a little less snow/ice and it would be warmer. Got it right.

Zojmn - good news!

4mile run at 9:30pm after coming home from a visit to Cleveland to get together with DH's family. Also spent a few hours at the Art museum.

Good stuff everyone! I mostly focused on sleeping in, napping, and doing stuff with the boys all day. I did manage to do my PT stuff and about 30min of core work.

Lots of good stuff going on here! Yay everyone!

Catching up:

Friday: MRI Hoping to get results today 12/27. Hoped to get in something on the trainer but was consumed all day by cooking and prepping for Saturday.

Saturday: 4.4 ish mile run with Niece and Hubster. Niece immediatelly napped on our couch for a few hours afterward since she is getting over her second bout of mono. Poorr thing. She certainly kept the conversation going for those miles though and I love her for it. FIB cooking and setting up and cleaning up. Last guest left at midnight. Awesome time had by all I am told.

Sunday: Lots of running about to see both families. Crashed on the couch watching Muppet Christmas Carol with the Hubster. If eating were a workout I would have hit pro status today after teh last few days.

Monday: Planned on running 6 to prep for Lowell 1st run 10k. Got in exactly nothing but debris in my eye and choking on coffee. Apparently I could not get myself together yesterday. Dealt with issue on condo I am selling and that sucked up hours of my life I'm never getting back. This thing better close tomorrow.

Tuesday: Back at it. Onthe trainer for 50 minutes this a.m. with disk 2 season 3 of Burn Notice. Now to get off those 10 pounds I need to lose before cruise in February. Contemplating an elliptical mid-day just to get away from my desk and try to kick start the metabolism.

Have a great day Peeps!
