Good morning, TEAM LIT!

4 mile run early this balmy morning. Stepped outside fully expecting temps around 30F but was greeted with 52F, which you might think would be a nice treat but, alas, I was already dressed and didn't have options to dumb down much. Sweat a lot. Felt weird running in pants with temps so high. Wool base sucked up a lot of sweat. Even my wool socks were too much. Far better than the alternative.

Great day, Peeps!

75 min on the exercise bike. 15 min WU with some builds, then 2 x 5 min @ 200 watts with 1 min recovery, 2 x 5 min @ 270 watts, 70 rpm with 1 min recovery, 5 x 1 min @ 120 rpm with 2 min recovery and a 15 min CD.

I may try and get a treadmill run in this afternoon, we'll see.

Same here - didn't bring the right clothes for an outside run since it was supposed to be rainy all day...so hit the DM and that stunk to high heaven. BUT 4.1 miles done and then 15 min on the stat bike for a good sweatfest.

Cold snap hit town this morning. -24 C with the wind chill. Off to the pool this evening for masters swim. I think we are doing a "typewriter" set. I have no clue what that means but I guess I'll find out.

4 mile run and probably also a swim later. For the second time in my life, when I got home from my run I ran my stopwatch against the microwave timer just to be sure my watch is still accurate - the run felt slow and choppy, but the watch suggested otherwise. The two lined up perfectly, so I'll take it!

6-mile stroller run - cold and windy with flurries. Eli slept in his wooly bear suit while I sweated up the hills. Felt great except my new shoes are giving me a blister. And a lady stopped to warn me about a fox in the neighborhood that chased her and her dog. Yikes!

Nice workouts guys. I apologize for not posting workouts here lately. I have a coach for the first time and wouldn't feel comfortable posting details of my/his workouts. I will say that he's keeping me busy and I'm training at a whole new level. Anyway, I'm glad everyone is doing well and putting in some solid workouts.

Can't you post vague generalities? Maybe you could ask your coach what he would be comfortable with. I mean, we *are* curious...

Good workout all! 1st snow day plus DH decided to work from home too. So chaotic at home, needless to say.

Squeezed in 2500m - man, I obviously forgot how to swim. My golf score is up 95 now, yikes. Something needs to be done. And in the evening, ran 6miles on TM including 6x400m at 5k'ish pace. I didn't feel like running on snow-piled sidewalk in a pitch dark in <10F temp. Legs are still sore from yoga and spinning.

20 minutes easy spinning on the trainer - PT before, a couple of pilates exercises after to see how my hip felt.

hip = partial crap.

new bike fit = much better, I don't keep moving my ass all around the seat, felt super comfortable.

but still, not thrilled with how my hip is responding. I have a PT appt next week, I guess I know what I'll be discussing.
