Rise and shine peoples

Rest day for me. Legs are sore for some odd reason... hmm... Probably more like rest week(s). Nuthing on the sched till Oct 1st, and its just a scenic 11 mile trail race. I'll start up my HM training in a few weeks, speaking of which....

Im running the race as a St. Jude Hero, raising money for the kids there. Here's my page if any of you are interested

I'll give you "rise" but certainly not "shine". Not sure why, but I never sleep well after a long race. Bit sore today. Took the hound for a stroll. Nearly missed a couple curbs. Attachments for hamstrings are really, really sore! Usual "mom was gone over the weekend" rest day on tap.

Good morning everyone. Today is my son's fisrt day of school for the year. This year he is in 1st grade and will be going all day instead of half days. It should be interesting.

Nice job on all the racing and such over the weekend.

I got in 5 miles this morning. In the interest of time I did not do 6 like I would have liked to do.

4boysmom - great job yesterday. You have a trophy cabinet?

Dave - it'll all be worth it come race day.

BBS - yep, rest up.

Thankfully it's a SRD as I feel completely drained; however I'm not sore. Could do with another 12hrs of sleep.

BBS -- I bet you are sore. Great job on the back-to-back races.

Dave -- Sure it's been a long haul. The hay is in the barn, as they say. "They" being those with barns. And hay. Looking forward to the weekend right along with you.

4boys -- Rest up. And there'd better be a race report coming.

Kevin -- Good job on the fiver. First day for my second-grader, too.

RA -- Rest well, chap.

Me -- Did ten on the 'mill Saturday and six yesterday. Feeling it in the gams. Will get in 2000 yards at the local fishbowl later. And I might do some work today, too. Who knows?

Who says Rise & Shine on a Monday.... Bah!

Skipped running on Sunday due to too much fun on Saturday. So today will be a run day instead of rest day. I know the miles are still low but for me it's an increase... 5m at 5 on the trails. The trails are on the way home from work so no pup to join the fun. I will get the evil eye from the pup when I come home in running gear and already have ran without her.

HAWK - Enjoy the game on Friday? I fell asleep watching in the 8th inning.... Shame on me and imagine my surprise when I saw the score Sat. morning.
