Hi, BBS -- You're a hard-working fellow. Hope you get that 'mill run in.

Me -- BCOD for work-related reasons. Hate when I can't sleep. Will work from home this a.m. and sneak in 6 around the neighborhood. Yesterday's 10 went just fine.

REST DAY!!! Had a very busy weekend. Worked Saturday morning. In the afternoon did a 10m shake 'n bake run--half the time it was cold rain/sleet and stop you in your tracks wind, half the time it was full sun and hot! Sunday was 7am in the fishbowl for 2500m. After church I headed out for a spin. 15-20mph winds, so there really was no good way to do this ride. Opted for Mill loop which is 17mi, hoping to do it twice. Yah, it sucked, but finished the first loop and started the second with no doubts. Capped off the day with church in the evening. Very stressful day ahead. Probably going to regret no burning off some nervous energy, but the body NEEDS rest.

BBS--good luck getting that 3 in.

chances--enjoy the 6.

Well, that sucked. 15 miles (mostly wishing I was still in bed). When I headed out it was a dark, very windy but 54F. Early on, I was actually quite warm when the wind was at my back. Then I could feel it getting colder after 5 miles. It was 44F when I got home. Legs felt heavy all the way.

4boysmom - enjoy the rest

Chances - have run with 6 in the 'hood

BBS - that's a long day... rest rather than the TM would seem to be a good plan...

Hi everybody. I did four miles on the 'mill, with a bunch of walking. Looks like Miss Sunshine's running club is going to get rained out this afternoon.

Hello all, quick fly-by on a busy Monday. Optional rest day for me here...at the very least I will probably rest from running even though I feel fine after not going as hard as planned in the race yesterday. I wouldn't mind getting out for a 30-45 minute bike ride this evening after work. We'll see if that falls into place. Got a lot to do here before that however. Later all, have good runs and whatever else.

Evening ride around the neighborhood for me a couple hours ago as the sun went down. 49 minutes, 11+ miles. Not fast but that's fine, I just wanted to get some fairly relaxed low-impact motion. A week ago I was all bundled up on the bike and my toes still froze like popsicles. Tonight even with a stiff wind it was plenty warm out there, probably still around 80 when I went out.
