19.3 mile ride - slow, coolish, and windy. Can I have 60's and still please?

Guess that didn't hurt Boston though .... holy crap. Just saw the finish time. Amazing! Hopefully it will be a good day for the CR/KR gang. Surprised there's no tracking thread going (or maybe it's buried in another thread).

Had a pretty good weekend. Started it off with an advanced swim technique class that included a ton of information and videotaping. Apparantly I have a good stroke- high elbow, good rotation, etc. I just need to get my butt into the pool more and I too wi'll be a fishy! Then had a 26 mile "winds of hell" ride. I was pretty much cooked after that.

Sunday included a nice 6 mile run that felt pretty good. DH said I looked strong finishing... he didn't even think it was me.

Nothing for me today though!!!!

Great job Boston runners!!!!

Ugh...snow, Ronbo??? What the heck??

A weird run today...a little over 2 miles on the dreadmill, then the littles decided they wanted to do a stroller ride to see the ducks at the lake, so we loaded up and took off. Actually had a nice pace going...around 9:15-9:30, which is pretty much unheard of with the jogger. Then, just over 2 miles into the stroller push, dear old Garmin got completely whacked out. I have no idea what happened, but it was cycling through modes, said I'd gone 7.6 miles...weird.

So, all in all, a little over 5 miles total and hoping the Garmin gremlins go away.

I ran 26.2 miles (a bit extra if you count the few yards I ran back to pick up one of my water bottles on Rte 135 in Wellesley).

4:58:38 total (11:24min/mi).

It all seemed sort of surreal until the hurt started. Then, it seemed hard.
Kept to 9 minute run:1 min brisk walk intervals except for some brief walking to refill bottles at aid stations. Ran the last mile or 1.2 miles straight.
2:30:30 for the 1st half.
2:28:08 for the 2nd half (unless I did the maths wrong).
I did not walk up Heartbreak Hill.
I ran mile 26 in 10:29.
I ran the last 0.2 miles at 10:05/mi.
