Good morning, TEAM LIT!

x: See follow-on comment in yesterday's thread.

3+ mile easy run early this morning. Body tired from weekend yard work and "race" yesterday. Calf feeling about the same as yesterday. Still have that connection from ground, through the calf, to the body for propulsion but purposely stayed away from using it. This is nice to have since I didn't have that aspect of it since the calf seize a few weeks back. Boston: 50% a go.

Adam - good to hear your energy level is up! Just in time.

Thor - I like the way you describe the 'connection to the ground'. Hopefull the odd of you running Boston will go up 10% each day.

Recovery day, 4 easy miles. Crazy windy. Took advantage of the wind on the way back to do 8x25sec strides. Felt nice and smooth. Getting there.

May swim later if I feel like it.

Ugh....ugh again. A slow, sluggish 5 mile pushing of the little otters. I made a major error and let them pick the route, which meant lots of hills. I'm sure I'm just still kinda wiped from Saturday's 20-miler, and very glad this is a recovery week.

On another note...I finally read through all the discussion from yesterday's workout thread. Very interesting issues going on...and I'm just so glad to have all of you around during training and racing. It's very comforting to know there is a place to share in the joys and challenges of these sports with super cool people who "get it."

Adam - Looks like your getting your mojo back just in time!

Jen - I agree. This is one special group of people.

DOR. Taking stock and restructuring the next three weeks. I'm strangely sore and I have a chafe mark the size of a baseball on my upper right arm.

Thor - fingers crossed for you and Boston.

Adam - Sounds like an excellent plan.

Otter - Yah, you should still be wiped out from Saturday's 20 miler. Recover.

1 hr on the exercise bike. Set the watts to 150 and left it there. FIB 50 pushups, 50 crunches, 25 pushups, 25 crunches right then 25 crunches left, 20 pushups.

Starting to get mentally set for Boston. Oh yeah, baby!

Still trying to read through the weekend threads, lots of stuff to chew on!

No real workouts for me lately other than some seriously heavy yard work (climb to top of ladder, from there up into tree, reach as high as possible and hand-saw lots of limbs, etc). Quite sore today. Hoping to get some weights and maybe some swimming later today, though.

Final Monday before April 15 is always insane and today was no exception. Hit the desk running, so to speak.
