Glute skweezing while running, eh? Only in an emergency for me, and when there are no bushes nearby.

6 miles progression for me this morning: 9:19, 8:30, 8:03, 7:57, 7:53, 7:37 for a 8:13 avg. I have no idea what that accomplished, but it was fun. It's a great morning to be alive. Carry on.

6.25 EXTRA ez miles this morning.

Broke a 30+ year record for rain yesterday. Just over 7" and city was pretty well flooded to a stop. Not like Iowa and TN flooding but some neighborhoods evacuated. Suppose to rain on and off next several days.

carry on

I'm in DC. I ran 12 tourist miles yesterday (7:58/mi), and 10 more today (7:48/mi). Since that's about what I run in a week, I should probably rest tomorrow.

Just yoga today and I'll probably take Honeybee out for a nice long walk soon. I want to take another look at Jupiter and the sun just set. I saw something low on the eastern horizon the other night when I was out walking with her, and then on Stardate today I heard it was Jupiter.

I never made it to yoga this evening as I had planned, just wasn't in the mood to get in the car and deal with the traffic. And anyway, I found myself doing some spontaneous kitchen floor yoga earlier, so I figured that was what I really needed. I do plan on going tomorrow morning though. I haven't had luck with running in the afternoons after taking yoga class in the morning, but it will just Have.To.Do.

Oh, and I did run late this morning. Only 3.6 miles, to the library and back, to pick up a CD I had ordered. So all in all, a mostly restful day.
