Thanks Mike. Glad you got in such good numbers yesterday, hope you feel good today. Has that nagging cold left yet?

Nice job Cappy and Todd!

Well the 3200m Regional tonight and top 4 advance to Sectionals. Awesome thing is that I get to leave early and miss the last 2 hours of school.

Have a great day folks!

I had a decent last week with 63 miles of running and I hope to continue with a few more weeks of easy base building before I dive back into a regular dose of speedwork. I got in 10 miles this morning and added 8 strides during the last two miles of the run.

May your runs be fun and your rest relaxing.
1) Alex - Awesome this is if you are in the TOP 4.

2) Its still a great thing if you run a great race and miss out

3) A good thing if you run a so/so race, but give everything you have

I vote for #1

I still have a little lingering cold / sinus issues - they will be exterminated soon.
This I don't believe. - I have had to break off from running for a week as my mum is quite ill, and even so, I was only just starting to get back into some sort of shape anyway. Tonight I went for a regular run along the quayside, a loop of around 2.25 miles, and it felt nice and easy, pushing only very slightly, taking what I felt to be an easy run, as I have a 7.75 Km race tomorrow evening. Well, I ran a 30 seconds personal best for the route, admittedly I have tended to only run this route when not fully fit, but 30 seconds when I dodn't feel I was really kicking - Mmmmmm - maybe I'm better at this than I thought
Hey Fox-Runr - Will be get a race report???? I could't make the party - Too much beer right after the marathon - It was nappy time
6.4 very hilly miles at the high end of easy. Legs are fatigued, as opposed to yesterday's similar length, but flat flat run where legs felt fresh at the end. I figure hills are like adding 20% more distance or time.
4 miles in 40:52. Felt great. But then I got 11 minutes into my yoga routine and totally punked out. Ah, well. Good enough.

Eagerly awaiting Alex's race report.

Liam, good on you! I am sorry to hear about your mama, though.
