Well - 1 week of vacation - Great fun with the family, but a training disaster - It will take 2 weeks to recover from that, so a total of 3 weeks of training lost. 3 days camping - 2 days at WI Dells - 1 day at Milwaukee Zoo - 1 Wedding - too dehydrated - poor sleep - bad eating - booze - my days running at least 4 miles ended at 150 - Live and Learn

10 easy miles this morning

Good running to all -
Today is a Cross/Rest day. I might jump on the bike trainer later - it's rainy here.

Flounder, I bet it'll only take you a week to "recover" from vacation.
5 miles this morning while I let the tv babysit. Miss Sunshine watched Thomas the Tank Engine in spanish, Easy napped, and I slogged on the treadmill.

Tonight I got o my weights class, and Sunshine will go swimming with mr jebba. Easy will get stuck in the nursery at the Y, poor boy.
Wasn't a good weekend of running. Actually no running at all. Spent the weekend with good friends at a Jimmy Buffett concert. Life doesn't get much better than that. Definitely one of the most fun weekends I've ever had.

This week is a cut back week anyways with a half marathon on Saturday.

Myron - Nice job. Another amazing race.
What day is it?

On today July 30 I ran to the Y to warm up (1 mile) did 6 miles with 5 at steady state (basically MP) pace on the treadmill, then ran back to my parents' house to cool down.

I felt pretty sluggish at first, but it got better.
