Jill is 12810. I think that's the 3rd corral in the second wave, if that's still how that works? Good luck to Jill and the rest of the Boston marathoners today!

Back in the midwest, the rain turned to snow back to rain on my drive in this morning. My plan to meet up with the early group dissolved as I figured there was a chance I'd be the only one there and the health club seemed much more inviting. So 6 miles on the treadmill it was.

Rest day. Getting a cold from DD. Hopefully it'll be done by April 30th. "Working from home" this morning to watch the marathon on TV via Universal Sports.

I thought about "telecommuting" just like RA today, but schlepped into the office anyway.

Runner tracking updates seem to be a little slow. Jill ought to be close to the half at this point but I just got (seconds ago) her 10k update. 51:07 (8:13/mile). That puts her around 3:35-ish pace. BTW, Tonya came through 10k in 45:10, i.e., about 3:11 pace.

Optional rest day, as I like to call it, for me today. What that really means is no run is planned but I may get the bike out after work for a short 45-60 minute ride.

Tonya on a metronomic pace, actually stepped it up by :01/mile. 1:35:13 at the HM point just past the scream tunnel. Maybe the guys around her got excited and picked it up and that made her pick it up?

Hall went 2:04:55. I'd bet he would have thought he'd have a good shot to win it with that time if you asked him before the race. Can't blame the guy for not running a world record time to win, but I was hoping we'd have an American winner. One of these days...
