Hawk- hope the run and interview go well

MBH- 11, then 12? what are you training for? Iron man?

I busted out an easy 3 miler on the TM. Felt easy peasy. Hopefully it will stay that way. I start a 5k/25k training plan next week. 25K training will just be my long runs as that race is totally just a fun run. I entered my HM finish time for my 5K training schedule and its giving me a race time of 20:07 we'll see.

BBS - I'm sure you can run 8 seconds faster. My HM time translates to slower 5k than my actual 5k.

Mailbox - enjoy the 11

Hawk - good luck with the interview.

I have the typical Monday SRD It's week 1/18 for my Boston training plan... supposed to run 53 miles. Have to see how that goes.

Hawk -- Enjoy the 7-mile brain tune-up before the interview. Good luck.

MBH -- You're a beast lately.

BBS -- Sounds like you're fully recovered. +1 to what RA said re HM to 5K translation.

RA -- Sounds suspiciously like a Pfitzy plan.

Me -- Bit of a sore throat today. Supposed to do weights, but might just take it easy.

Nice job on all the running and planned running. I did 20 minutes of stretching and some core work. I may go to the pool or try some treadmill running to test out my foot etc... Just tired to today. Hopefully my brain and body will wakeup soon.

Nice run, albeit a chilly one through the neighborhood. Warming back up with a hot chocolate now then it's time for a shower and some interview prep. I should be fine. But thanks for the props just the same. :)

Nice jobs on the runs, BBS, MB and RA. Weird to hear about spring training plans but you guys are focused. I'll kick my program off on New Year's Day.

BBS- with 5k specific training, you should have a very good shot at sub 20.

Asics- very jealous- of both the rest and the start of Boston training.

Make sure that throat doesn't turn into something worse- rest up.

Kevin- a nice easy run always wakes me up.

The run went uneventfully- as usual lately slow start, followed by a solid finish.

As for the rest of the month, lets just say I have really big, really stupid plans...

Hello party people.

Saturday I did a little Snowflake 5k. It was small enough that my 24:19 was good enough for 1st in my age group. It's about 1:45 off my pr, so it was no great performance.

Lately I've been feeling chubby, lazy and slow. Today's run was a good antidote: 10 miles at an 8:58 pace. That's pretty brisk for me, and it felt good.

Nice job, everyone.

Planned rest day. However, after a super frustrating meeting, I decided it would be better to pound the pavement with my feet rather than someone's face LIKE THEY DESERVE!!! Usual 5.6m route, 8:39pace.
