Morning all.

Good to see HappyFeat and Baba checking in. Thought Baba was gone for sure.

Iphone weather app reported 29 degrees this morning. That's cold for us but thankfully no wind. 10 miles with a couple of the fellas at ez pace this morning. It would have been perfect weather for a 1/2 or full marathon. I'm ordering one of those days for Dec. 10th.

off to read Rip's race report.

Stay warm, ks. I did 4 M on the TM this morning. Tommorow evening is a Pub Run (like a crawl but faster) to celebrate a birthday in our running group. Time to find the headlamp batteries. If you don't hear from me tomorrow, not to worry.

Hi KS..... that's getting a wee bit chilly!

Hi FO...... A pub run, eh? Sounds like fun!

5.5 miles after work, broken up into 2 parts. I was only supposed to work until 3:30, but my boss booked a teleconference for 4-5. Drat.... that would leave running in the dark and then getting home way to late. So instead, went out just after 3 for 3.5 miles, paused the Garmin and came back in for the TC. After it was over, went back around the block for another 2 miles. Thought I'd be tightened up for the last 2, but managed a nice fast-ish pace that felt wonderful!

Greetings, Masterfuls.

Spoiled again by 60-degree weather, even as December beckons. I got in another five miles. It was slow, but I am pleased that my body is starting to accept more mileage. See how it goes.

Good runs, all

Nice runs everybody. I'm heading over to the fitness center for another eliptical workout. Still working out the soreness in my legs.

Here is a fantastic interview with David Riddle who set the all time record at the JFK 50 mile. Just a few weeks before that race he ran the same course for a 50k that I was doing a 27k on in Cincinatti. I estimated from our times he is about 1.5 minutes/mile faster than I am!!

Hey.

Nice racing here you guys. Rip, that was one helluva race you did the other day. Wow... KS continues to impress.

FO, I'm glad to see you are still running. Your initial report about your knee was pretty depressing. Nice pictures from the half!

Hi Baba! I like what Johnny said the other day "Shake the tree and look who falls out!" Happy Feat and Baba. And now here I am. I've been thinking of you guys, hoping there's still some action over here!

I've been running, but not real excited about it. Got the mid-winter doldrums I guess, brought on by our record setting COLD for early November! Yikes, where the heck did THAT come from? We've had more days in the -30 range in the early part of November than ever before I believe. I know a lot of cold temperature records fell, including that of the lowest HIGH for the day. Brrr. So... lots of time on the treadmill for me. Thrilling. But, I'm now in full taper mode for the White Rock Marathon on Sunday, which promises to be much warmer than here, but not as hot as it could be (yay), and possibly rainy... oh well. Looking at taking some sort of a break from running in December, not entirely but way cut back and increase the gym time. Then after New Year's I'll start gearing up for Boston.

Elliptical and weights today, but less than a third than what Rip does on that elliptical!

Hi everyone.....a weird warmish trend here too, but not complaining...oak & maple trees still have leaves....unheard of at Thanksgiving.

No run today, had to work, working tomorrow too, job is too physical to do field work & run the same day anymore, so I won't get a run in till Wednesday.

Enjoy the pub crawl FO, I'm sure you'll get another AG award for your efforts

Hi Erika Good luck at White Rock

After sitting around most of the day, I had more energy than expected for the eliptical. Back to medium resistence as I am over my slight cold.

75 minutes getting progressively faster. Puddles of sweat everywhere. Wrung all the clothes out in the sink after I was finished. Shoes are in front of the fan.

Planning to take tomorrow easy and then run at least 13.5 miles on wednesday. That will give me 150 miles for the month in 10 days of running.

We have been right in the middle of all the rain the last couple days but this fall has been great especially on the weekends. Last year we were already freezing

most of November.
