6 days to go...will be nice with no practices to speak of, but I guess this means I'll have to step up my studenting.

Due to the cooler temperature (34°F), I wore long-sleeves for the first time this season. I was able to get a fairly nice run of 12 miles in this morning. The moon was brilliant and offered plenty of light in the early morning hours. Hope your workouts are fun and fulfilling.

I went out for 5 miles tonight. It was a nice, pace.

The mile 1 heart rate data probably is not accurate. The HRM was showing 235 for quite a while. Trust me, if my HR was at 235 I would not be typing this!

Definitely cooling off, but still pretty nice night for a run.
Run Segments
9.5 miles. I hadn't planned on going that far but I was feeling good (strangely not too sore from yesterday). It was overcast, humid but slightly cooler.

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the first time since March, I ran in 50s temperatures and NO HUMIDITY.

With that kind of weather, tonights' track session was outstanding. It felt so good to run in a singlet and shorts and feel cool air on my skin, instead of drowning in humidity and gasping for breath.

My workout tonight was 6 X 800 : 3:35, 3:33, 3:34, 3:32, 3:28, 3:26. With warm-up and cool down I did 6 miles total.

What a great evening to be able to run.
