Good morning all.

Ellen - I seen you were online so I thought I would wait until you posted. That way we didn't get two threads for today. Nice job on the mil this morning.

I put in 4 miles this morning, Nice and easy 7:57 pace.

Hope every one has a great workout today.
Wow, aren't you the gentleman! Nice job out there.

Ok, I really must wake up at least the boy who must go to school. Later folks.
Hiya Ellen, nice seeing you around!

Good run Dave...

I ran 4.5 on a very blustery morning here. The wind was noisy and must have covered up my groaning and panting on the hill because I scared up and was scared by some white tail deer as I cruised over a little dip in the coulee.

Managed a 9:35 pace.

Have good runs all.
Good Monday morning all -

8 easy miles - 35F light wind lots of fog, nice cool moist - Hard to keep the pace slow enough - I enjoyed this one.

Grizzly - Keep that blustery stuff - I didn't mind you sending the warm weather - But I am not a big fan of wind.

Good running to all -
Lots of great work out there already today. Had a decent weekend, and planning on getting in around 8 or so before I sit down to watch the Buckeyes tonight. I'll stay optomistic about the game because I don't think they're as overmatched as a lot of people might think.

Anyone else watch American Gladiators last night? Just about as cheesy as I was hoping for although I have a few complaints.
Mailbox-- I watched the last hour of gladiator last night. Seems the same only years apart from the original.

A 5 mile run scheduled for me later today. Hopefully it will be a good run. Have a great morning everyone.
Ellen--they knew you were only going short this morning. My oldest are still sleeping, too. Hubby and I went to bed early and I suspect that the kids "forgot" their bed times...

David--you SEEN Ellen?!?!?!? Sorry, but you are sited by the grammar police!

Grizzly--my day is complete seeing you post again. Do you have a new four legged running partner?

All others--great running!

Rest day for me. And I'm not complaining. I'm still sick. My doctor thinks it's viral, so we'll wait it out. He's not telling me not to s/b/r, so...
Snappiness already this morning, eh?

Great job on the early runs Ellen, Dave, Grizzly, Flounder, and wonderingoutlaw.
Richard, hope your walk is fun.
kfuller, mailbox have smashing runs later today.
mom - Of course! Why wouldn't you r/b/s when you're sick?

Pretty sore today after my 18+ miler yesterday, though not too sore, I don't think. May try for a lunchtime run of 8+. Should go smoothly.

I'm more worried about two weeks from now. I'm scheduled for a 20 miler that weekend, and my sister-in-law is getting married--and I'm a bridesmaid. We are traveling to Tennessee for her wedding, and the schedule is as follows:

Friday - travel to Tennessee
Saturday - preparations for the wedding (will probably do the 20 miler in the am)
Sunday - wedding, so preparations all day before the wedding, wedding, reception, etc.
Monday - travel back to Omaha

Maybe the hotel will have a treadmill. If I were the one reserving the hotel rooms, I would make sure there was something in the way of a workout facility involved. But the reservations are not being made by me...

Have great ones, all.
Ah, I see that the group is back to its usual feisty self again what with english lessons and all. And then there's all the good workouts.

I did my version of mom's going nowhere routine this morning riding the stationary bike in the direction of the sunrise but alas it never came. 18.87 miles in one hour. Also did a core workout.

Off to the ferry. Will check in later. Have a good one.
Good monday morning, grammar police and others....

I took leave of my few senses and ran 12 miles yesterday with the local running crowd....ran with the slower ones - over 10 minute pace. 12 is a mileage PR for me by 2 miles and happy for the accomplishment...ran the last 3 alone and in the mid-9s to feel more like i was actually running...hilly course...temps in the 40's, sunny out, gorgeous day and near 70 by the p.m.

naturally, running 12 miles with ITBS in the knee equals ouchie!! no pain at end, some in the middle and early part of the run, but i paid for it the rest of the day....pretty sore today too but actually almost that good kind of sore....

Very sorry to hear that Billy is joining the ITBS club....hate to say it, but it doesn't go away quickly....5 straight days off at one point didn't help me much....but the good news for me at least is that it's better overall than it was...i.e., quicker "recovery" from the soreness after 2 months with it....

some terrific running out there...dave, glad to see you're still knocking out those "easy" 7 something pace miles...

and Tonya? you have a remarkable ability to run a 7:53 pace almost like clockwork....way to go....

sorry for the length....have a good day all....
