Morning...

FB - Nice going in the humidity.

Up early this morn. About a 6.5-7.00 on the back to it scale. Accumulating wellness. Off to Boston next Wed-Fri so a good chance it'll be 2 weeks before I get a run in. We'll see. Hoping for at least a wee one before I leave.

Have a great day everyone.

Glad you are gradually getting better Dan.

Did 10 miles on the mountain roads. A balmy 70+ this morning -- but also some light rain to cool things off a bit...

I'm right there with you re: humidity FB. This morning was gross! 6 slow miles for me.

loopy, I was so grateful for the sprinkle, however short it was, this morning. Have you talked to your brother? Is he ready for this weekend?

vash, I am so glad to see you back-at-it.

FB--great job getting it done

Dan--I am so impressed that you are sticking with it

loopy--did you get that nasty storm yesterday? Pretty wild here with no thunderstorms but we had tornadoes. It hit right at the end of the school day so some schools had to hold kids.

Jill--nice little 6 there.

Starting to feel "mostly recovered". Still a bit of stiffness going down stairs. No workouts planned for the day so I took the hound dog for a walk. I'll probably try an easy run on Friday.

Dan- That number sounds like quite an improvement over the last while. It's great to hear you are feeling better.

I probably will not get anything today. It is my scheduled rest day anyway. I was going to do some plyometrics dvd, but not sure if that will happen today. Have a great morning everyone.

Too tired and too sore to run this morning. My left hip is killing me after seeing the chiropractor yesterday. Great! I'm on the verge of just giving up as I've had this stupid issue for two years. However, whatever he did (Graston) made my ankle feel better. At least one thing is getting better. Anyway, after I've trashed my body in the make up marathon and dug a hole for the turkey trot 5k, I'll be on a self imposed hiatus for at least Dec and Jan. Last outdoor track workout tonight then a group pizza night. I may jog around the track to see if things loosen up. Windy as all heck as a low pressure system sucks in cold air. Highs in the 60s today then 40s for a few days.

BBS - good call

kfuller - take it easy

zrun - last time I had a breakfast burrito, I was working in San Antonio. It was gooood.

4boysmom - recover well. Avoid stairs

Jill - nice job on the grossly slow 6.

Loopy - balmy? you've got our old weather.

Dan - upward on onward!

FB - is there 1 day a year where humidity is low?

Morning running peeps,

Warm and rainy here today just like in PA. I've got some type of interval workout planned for today. That means I'll probably take it inside and hit the TM at the gym, since I don't have access to a track near work. Feeling pretty good after my weekly chiropractic adjustment this morning.

FB - nice job in that Florida humidity which never quits

loopy/Jill - way to get out there this morning.

Dan - way to stick to it indeed. Take your running gear to Boston...you never know, you might be inspired. No shortage of running inpsiration in that town.

RA - I know what you mean about those chronic issues. I've been telling myself I should take a little time off after NYC -- but we'll see if that really happens. I'm definitely going to do a textbook recovery phase first (a McMillan-style reverse taper) and see how I feel after that. Something tells me I may be back to lining up at a starting line in December.

4bm - keep recovering smartly

zrun - you're making me hungry and I still have to run...

kevin - enjoy the rest day and the early dusting of snow

MB - easy 8 sounds good any time of the day.

Midday workout done...one of those taper phase runs that leaves you wanting more.

30 minutes on the TM, 3.62 miles, with a ladder of 200-500-800-500-200 at more or less 10k pace. Afterwards, 20 minutes of core.
