Durt finished the marathon. He had a better attitude. Me, i was cranky from the horrendous trail conditions and the extreme fear that i would break something and not be able to run my big race at the end of the month! Finished at 21.5 miles at 6hours!
Ouch. Sounds like not only were the conditions awful, they were unsafe. Glad you came through (mostly) unscathed. Now pick yourself off, lick off the wounds (not the mud) and keep on with the training.<br><br>
Don't worry about the 100, you'll be more than ready for it.

During the race i was disappointed in my attitude, but i was really not prepared for those conditions. It was a training run, not a race. Different goals and mentalities.
