Amazing what eating right does. Had a pretty good week of training, got in 88 miles in a "recovery" week. This week is set to be huge... actually the next three are going to be huge. Then the long slow taper as the Gerber jumbo jet does it's final approach to Hardrock.

Good running to all!

The right foot and the right hammy are healed up. The left hip seems ok. The left foot is still sore. It's getting better and wrapping it seems to help. But another slow and short week of only 28 miles. It's been 3 weeks since I have gone more than 10 miles. Any chance at Grandma's is gone. I'll just keep plugging along until the foot is fully healed. I suppose this week is too optomistic.

Fun stuff - I fell down hard - 3 days of camping, not running and eating / drinking like a rock star

The volleyball and kickball has left me hardly able to move - Running is disjointed and painful. Mon - Tue off + only able to waddle for 6 Wed evening.

As Richard would say - As long as I get up 1 more time than I fall down ... I will be OK.

I am volunteering at FANS24 this weekend - The start of all the craziness for me. I am excited that in the last few weeks Connie Gardner has signed up - i hope she is taking a swing at something big ... It would be really cool if she broke my course record.

Ps - No weigh in

I did weigh in yesterday @ 220 - So up as expected.

These unforetunate choices are going to make Grandmas difficult to break 3 hours - I was right on the edge the way it was - I figure if I could have hit 210 I had a reasonable chance.

Hey Fattys!

CW: 226

Mostly fat, thought I would have been around > 240. but realized as i have lost all muscle mass, and added only back in wiggly jiggly fat. I am not as heavy as once thougt i would be... so now I need to try and figure out how to cut down weight with out exercise, Plus I am on high dose of steroids whic make me hungry constantly ( it is really awful), but never fear I have some that make me puke.... so....

I have taken 2011 as the year of not or taking care of me. and maybe just maybe 2012 I can get back to simple little things like walking a mile, maybe get back in the pool, who know maybe even a run.
