I was thinking about starting a sticky for medical issues. I was going to do it at CR but the numbers were too large to handle. Let me know if there is any interest. Also let me know how to create a sticky.

Don't we have a whole forum for this? <a href="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=18" target="_blank">http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=18</a><br><br>
Mods can create sticky threads.

Yes there is forum but I am not sure who monitors it. If it is like the Med Tent at CR the moderator was not a physician. I could not keep up with the number of questions for the whole website. Since I participate here I would be willing to help people who have questions. I certainly have been helped by the expertise of the more experienced runners/bikers/swimmers. If the mocderstors do not want another sticky then I will just reply to the medical issues I come upon.

I'm assuming so, but just wanted to clarify for my dreary, sleepy brain.

I am an orthopedic surgeon. I am a team doctor at a Div I college which doesn't necessarily make me any better than the next guy but I do have some experience treating athletes.

PT guy works on tons of athletes. His quote, "we like it when athletes come in, cause we can push them just a bit more than we can when the elderly or non-athletes come in. The athletes want to get better and follow directions.....at least while we're watching them. <img alt="biggrin.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/biggrin.gif">"
