Hi everyone,
I could use some advice, suggestions, encouragement. I'm recovering from a calf tear and now my other leg is experiencing knee pain on the medial side, with pain behind the knee also. There's no swelling. It hurts to stand up suddenly after sitting, and it hurts to fully straighten out my leg. This is soooo frustrating! I made an appt with the ortho for Monday (earliest available). Anything I should do in the meantime? I'm terrified that it's a meniscus tear - my DH had one a few years ago and had a surgical repair, but it's still bothering him a bit. Currently I've been icing it in the evening after work but that doesn't seem to have any effect.

Thanks,
Susan

Sounds like plain old PFS. Not that uncommon. Your body was probably compensating for the calf injury. Been there, done that. I would focus on quadricep stretching.
