its been a pretty insane week for me, work-wise. i continue to work a full time schedule in order to help cover. yesterday in clinic, we were so inundated that i almost cried. its such an overwhelming situation with no relief in sight. its times like this that makes me question about working in public health b/c some of the shortages and BS we face would NEVER happen in the private healthcare sector.

but i'm trying my best to take it one day at a time... and eat lots of treats in the meantime. heh.

qoyd: i would bring my famous peanut thai chicken noodles. (i've been known to make a whole batch to bring somewhere, eat it myself, then have to go out and buy something else to bring. whoops.)

Hey everyone!

Fun: I have had so much free time the last couple of weeks and I have been having a blast enjoying my boys and summertime. It makes me very happy. And I am back on the training wagon, which also makes me very very happy.

Went out to dinner this evening with a friend from church. She's a very special woman and we had a great conversation. We were at the restaurant from 7-10:30 so we each tipped the waiter 40%. In addition to taking up a table for so long, he was an excellent server.

Spent part of the afternoon working on a bib for a baby that was born in April. A lot's happened since then so it's understandable that I haven't finished it, but it would be nice to get it done before I head back to PA. One less project to take.

Hi all - lots of little things done yesterday. Combined with something of a sub-par sleep the night before, that may explain why I felt so zonked and just didn't want to get out of bed this morning.

Hope to get out and about today - we'll see what I can dig up locally.
