The Gender War
<ul><li>The women won handily in total minutes.</li>
<li>The men squeaked by with just a few more minutes per capita.</li>
<li>Eight of the 15 women participating recorded higher than average XT numbers, but only four of the 11 men participating did so.</li>

The panel of impartial judges hired by the women's team hereby award the overall title to the women's team for their enthusiastic participation and well-rounded team effort. Well done, ladies! Individual Titles Sans Souci won the women's crown by a generous margin. Congratulations, Queen Souci! <img alt="icon_queen.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/icon_queen.gif"> JJJessee took the men's crown with a fine effort on Sunday, beating Labduck by a mere 84 minutes. Okay, uh, I think I injured something doing that. <img alt="uhoh2.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/uhoh2.gif"> 
JJJ's dancing (and choovie's and MrC's) puts my brand of Charleston-ing to shame! It was nice cutting the rug with you, JJJ. 
The challenge was a gas. I think I'm very fortunate (!?) that (a) I had lotsa time to x-t due to injury and (b) jura came to the party late. I hope it all helps to make me a stronger, injury-free runner in the future. 
A crown to place beside the tiara I received from Tetsujin at the Pink Door. What a lucky schmoe I am, running and x-training with all of you. <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif">
